not the i have been there but i liked trees in cramond, edinburgh very much. It looks like Edinburg.

By the way i read somewhere that all britons are germans, stimmt nicht?

Thanks for the comments, and Firdavs, if you are ever in Edinburgh I'll take you to see those trees. There's a nice beach, and more importantly a great pub, there too.

As to my island people all being Germans. Hmm, debateable. I think it would be slightly more accurate to say we are a lovely mix of Celts (the indigenous people - can still be seen roaming the Scottish highlands with their flowing ginger locks), plus the Angles and the Saxons, some of whom, originate from our fair Deutschland, and then there's the Scandinavian Vikings who are particularly prominant in York, or Jorvik, as they like to call it (Vikings, albeit not authentic ones, can also still be seen roaming around York city centre), and then the French who hopped across the Channel with our mate William back in 1066. The Commonwealth people make up the final group.

So we aren't all German. Although my Dad likes to make the point that the royal family are. Shows what a fallacy national identity really is.
